My Life With Gingivitis

I have found out alot about Gingivitis through reading and researching information. However, I additionally found it extremely useful reading what other people with the same disease had to say about Gingivitis, so I decided to include my personal testimonial on my site, hopefully it is of some benefit. Your not the only one suffering from Gingivitis!

My Testimonial

"I am a 27 year old female. Unfortunately I suffered from Gingivitis for a few years, but now I am over it and my gums are free from disease. When I was younger I had horrible teeth- I had braces to correct the alignment of my teeth and then when I was in year 10- I was lucky enough to get dental veneers on my 6 front upper teeth. They looked beautiful! But after a few years I noticed my gums were quite red and puffy and would bleed easily when I brushed my teeth. My initial Denist failed to pick up that I was suffering from Gingivitis and it was only when I visited an alternate dentist that he said "You better do something about this serious problem or it could be fatal in the future" he then proceeded to show me some pictures of patients where their teeth had fallen out due to Gingivitis and poor oral care. That's when I decided that there was no way I wanted to have my teeth falling out so I tackled my problem head on (look at my How I Overcame Gingivitis page) and now I am free of Gingivitis and feel alot more confident when I smile. "
